It's a good thing the NBA drafts based upon pure potential because Donte Greene lacks any remnant of basketball instincts. Generally speaking, when he finds himself in a shooting slump, he doesn't shorten up and shoot mid-range shots or play defense. He continues to bounce clunkers off the back of the rim and let things work themselves out on their own. In college he was an anomaly in that he close to 7' tall and could hit 3's on occasion. Unfortunately, nearly everybody in the NBA is as tall as he is and they won't tolerate a prolonged shooting slump that he will inevitably fall into. Greene is an absolute joke and will be out the L before he appears in a game. He'll be dropped by his European team just in time to play in the D league with Frank Stallone and Jackie Moon.
